My only complaint was the extremely rough ride you get. Wanted to rattle my teeth loose. But they did the job. Although I still have my rubber chains mounted to my tires, the past 2 winters I've been using my Ag tires with no chains and they too have worked well. I don't use any weights. But here in South Jersey we don't get the snow other areas get. I've plowed 10 inches with no problem.
ronhatch 406 #5 Posted September 24, 2016 Last fall I bought a set of cable chains for my 857 WH with a 42" plow. Because of our lack of snow last winter and my getting deathly sick, I never had much of a chance to fully test them. But from the one time I used them they seemed to work well on my blacktop drive. I also put about 110 Lbs on the rear hitch.
