wallfish 15,935 #7 Posted September 12, 2016 Nice! It certainly has ALL the goodies with it Normally I'm on the side of leaving it original but there is some over spray on it already. With that low of a serial # it should have the round 3 hole rear hubs too but the Ponds are notorious for mixing it up a bit. That looks like the leather shift boot I made as a gift for Jeff when he hosted the first ever RedSquare meet & greet back in ??? 09???. BUT... it's a real boot, made from a leather work boot!

RedHorse54 578 #12 Posted September 13, 2016 I'll be sure to keep everyone posted. And I'm having trouble with the govener. I tap the throttle The slightest bit and the motor races. Is this set up right?

Your throttle cable is hooked up incorrectly to the gov-wheel Google K91 manual and it will provide you with the correct throttle cable hook up diagram
RedHorse54 578 #14 Posted September 14, 2016 Thanks everyone. This info will help for sure. Today I was messing with it and set it very incorrectly and started the motor and it was running VERY high, I quickly shut it off. Would what happened ruin the motor In any way?
