T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,611 #1 Posted September 9, 2016 I haven't bought it, as I'm been looking at buying a 701 from wh500special (Steve). I would rather have the Kohler engine than a Tecumseh, but it's tempting at $100. Owner bought it to restore, but lost interest, or time, or whatever. Doesn't run, but looks like it's all there and original. Nice patina also.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,611 #7 Posted September 10, 2016 Jeff, that's great. I didn't know about the blade attachment. That wasn't in the ad. But I'm glad it found a home. With me going after the 701, and possibly trading for your 753 with it, I didn't want to alter my plans and throw the wife off. I'm going after the 701 today. I might stop by at your place to look at that 653. Guys, I sent Jeff an email with the link as soon as I saw this ad as I knew I probably wasn't going after it myself, though the thought was heavy on my mind.

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,611 #9 Posted September 10, 2016 Jim, Jeff is a nice guy and I knew he would appreciate this tractor. Plus, it's not too far away from us, a couple of hours south of here. And Jeff is a Wheel Horse guy through and through, that and a Ford guy, but none of us are perfect. Just kidding on that, I like all trucks myself, as long as they're mine and they run.

Retired Wrencher 5,817 #12 Posted September 13, 2016 T-Mo That was a nice little tractor. I my self like these little engines. Parts are cheaper than Kohler. For now seem to be abundant. Easier to fix simple in design. Just my
