Amcwheel85 2,059 #1 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) Just picked up this Tecumseh H30 to replace the dead H60 my new to me suburban 550( aka killer ) had on it. $50 and it says 3.0hp but it's built as it was a race cart engine. Runs awesome... It also fits better. Didn't have time to finish it today but soon! Edited August 17, 2016 by Amcwheel85

Amcwheel85 2,059 #3 Posted August 17, 2016 Thanks! That's one reason why my wife and daughter named it killer! And also the guy I bought it from told me he had been pronounced dead 2 times last year so o tell ppl I bought it from a dead guy!
DougC 2,643 #4 Posted August 17, 2016 A racing cart engine would have a modified governor for high rpm. How fast you planning on mowing? Better install a seat belt and wheelie bars....

Retired Wrencher 5,809 #12 Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) Amcwheel85 Looks good fits right in there nicely. Just a point if you like to blend in painted parts that look like it`s been there Try Heritage Red buy Krylon It blends in with old paint well try it on a old engine shroud or some part. to see if like it. When you are 5' away looks good. Edited August 19, 2016 by T1257 RETIRED WRENCHER.
