Nice C-125....:text-goodpost: and in the correct place with :text-coolphotos:.

:text-welcomeconfetti:  to :rs:

I would check the oil in the tranny..If it looks and smells clean with no sign of water ( foam), leave it alone.

A shot of grease in the 5 zerks.

I would add a fuel filter, then  add a treatment of SEA FOAM to the fuel to clean out the fuel system.  But if there is gunk in the system and the sea foam loosens it up, it may require a carb cleaning if it clogs a jet.

I would also pull the PTO bell and clean and grease the neddle  bearing.

Looks very clean.  I would check/replace the fuel lines (often have a date shown) for cracks/ gunk in the tank, fuel filters, air filters, any electrical connections that might be brittle or corroded.   Also, any leaks around the engine, tranny or axles.

Go to the files section and download the info on the tractor and engine, and attachments.

Ed, I think there are "6" grease fittings.   The axle pivot or the steering gear are sometimes overlooked.

WHX??

:text-yeahthat:Nice lookin C and very clean.... I'm sure will take care of all your property needs with the right attachments. HINT she will love pulling a tub around for yard work!

Ask questions here if you get stumped on anything with it, lots of experts lurkin about here! You should find a manual for it here in the manuals section here if you need one.

:WRS:

Another hint ...you might need this for posting more :text-coolphotos:

Thanks a bunch everyone. I've got this weekend to myself, wife has to travel for work, so I am glad to have a list to start with for the tractor. That would be to complete AFTER her list... of course ;). Ill make sure run a search for the manual and then have at it!

Is the fitting for the grease gun standard? I think I have one lying around...

Welcome to the forum. As has already been said, gobs of friendly, helpful folks here.

Yes, the zerks are for your standard grease gun. Wheel Horse recommends using a #2 lithium grease. Apply one two or three pumps to each front wheel, steering spindles, front axle pivot, and steering shaft bearing at bottom of shaft where the gear and sector are. Your mower deck will have three fittings, one for each blade at the top of the deck. Apply four or five pumps to each zerk. The general rule, is to apply sufficient grease so that the old grease is forced from the bearing/pivot. Wipe off excess grease. Unless you want a furry blob to build up after a few mowings.

I had emailed and Text that number the week before... No answer. Then I left a message on Saturday morning and got a call back. They even dropped it off after I went and looked at it. Craigslist is so hit or miss.
