OK? Thanks Jerry77

WHX?? 46,902 #4 Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) This wasn't the member here a while back that was asking for advice on best way to go on letting go of his collection is it?? If I recollect he had 40 + horses and was from western IN?? For the love of me I can't remember his handle but I do remember he had a nice collection that his kids had no interest in. He was getting up in his years and was/has/had lost/losing interest in horses himself and had started a thread at least f-5 months ago for advice on best way to thin his impressive collection. He wasn't a real regular here but I think he was a supporter??? If my memory serves me correctly and I know it doesn't I think he said he was a mechanical engineer or something like that by trade. @Jerry77maybe your friend could shed some more light? Hopefully it's not the guy I'm thinkin of..... Edited August 8, 2016 by WHX7

Jerry77 1,218 #8 Posted August 9, 2016 No, I wish I could - friend was just passing thru toward Illinois and gave me a call since he knew I liked WH's . I would go look, but it's a few hours drive and I am interested in the 300-400 series- he said all were older...the only directions I got were west of 231 and east of Morton-sorry. CasualObserver 3,406 #11 Posted August 9, 2016 @WHX7 you are thinking about Steve @wh500special . He is an engineer by trade and used to live in western IN, but his collection is in southern IL where he now lives... just outside St Louis.
WHX?? 46,902 #12 Posted August 9, 2016 Yeah Jason that's is the member and here is his thread. http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/61501-thinking-about-a-major-downsizing-comments-please/?page=1 My apologies..... Glad to hear it's not you Steve and hopefully this finds you in good health yet! Always scares me to hear about sales like this which might mean we lost a fellow man. 14 hours ago, AMC RULES said: Ain't it funny how you can usually remember everything... except that one little detail that you need to know Especially when your trying to put 60 yo tractors back together and you were too in a hurry to take dissasembly pics!! wh500special 2,055 #15 Posted August 11, 2016 Yep, it was me. Thanks for all the concern! Still haven't done much of anything. Work, family, soccer, dance, softball, fishing, apathy, etc...all get in the way. I did sell two that were kind of in my way in the garage, but that's it. Depending on the weather, this might be the weekend I drag things out and take pictures. But if it's nice and the White Bass are still biting at Carlyle, then I might have a dilemma.
