Picture of lifting arm for a snowblower

Recommended Posts

Dave85zxt

I just got done rebuilding a single stage snowblower for my 856. Now that I am spending more time on this site I realized that my snowblower is missing the arm that attaches to the lift linkage. Does anyone have a couple pictures of the arm and/or how it mounts? If I can get the pictures then I will probably fabricate my own.

Thanks,

Dave

I take it you're looking for the lift "flag"? :hide:

Here's some pictures of one that doesn't have the lift assist spring tab, but is the same otherwise:

FYI

While it was not for the snow blower, I have discovered that a 2x4 with two U-bolts for the flag to slide into works well as a general push :D .

Having the flag is important though.

Does anyone have a measurements of the following?

- Tube length

- Tube ID

- Close ups of the tab that attaches to the blower with a scale next to it

Thanks,

Tube length varies depending on the wheelbase of the tractor.

"Long frame" tractors are about 4" longer than the "short frame" models, and only about 2" longer than the early B-80/100 "medium frame" models.

This picture is the measurement from the rear of the lift tube to the front tab and shows hole size & placement and overall length.

The I.D. of the OEM tube is 3/4" - to match the pin on the "flag". O.D. is around 1

A C-120 is a long frame.

Use the dimensions in the above picture(s).
