adventureone 0 #1 Posted December 24, 2008 I am looking at a 1055 with a snow blade that has been sitting for over two years. what is a good offer on this tractor? I am sure it dose not run. Thanks for your help Bill
Teddy da Bear 11 #2 Posted December 24, 2008 :hide: I am just going to give you a vague idea. Because it is difficult for any of us to judge a tractor without seeing it first. And of course you need to factor in the "how bad do you want it" factor. If it is a complete tractor...straight sheet metal.....good mechanical condition OTHER than it does not run (big price killer). With a snow blade.....(no mower deck?) I would give no more than $75 to $100 for it. ($100 if it looked really good and knew why it did not run). Good luck.....keep us posted.

Kelly 1,028 #5 Posted December 24, 2008 Not running could be a simple fix, I've started tractors that havn't ran in years, and only took ten min. to do it, after that I tear them apart for carb rebuilds and oil changes, new plug, ect..... also remember that the 1055 is the only year that they put a big block in a short frame tractor, also the first year for the square hoods, I have 3 of them one not running when I got it, but does now, I paid $150 for it, another I paid $100 ruff for parts, but complete, third nice shape with early plow wrong engine but runs very good (8hp) tire chains, agian nice machine, I paid $250 but I really wanted it and the early snow plow has foot release for the blade can't remember the model, but in the end it's all up to you and how bad you want it.
