WHX??

Yep pretty bad Mike if even Squonky knew it was here! :ychain:

I got a pallet full of hoods at auction once and most had dealer tags on it from all over the country.  Sadly some were patinaed beyond reading. Pic by @Pullstart

Interesting topic. I see that it was mentioned several years ago in this thread but Jack's Wheel Horse in Sarver was where all of my family's equipment came from, whether new or through a PO. Joe (John J.) passed away quite a few years ago but I think his son Ronnie is still around and in charge. They're still open although there was talk of selling everything (car dealership as well) and developing the land. Don't know where that it at the moment but my brother is coming to town next month and I'll be sure to ask.

Here in NC, some of what I've recently acquired came out of Mooresville from The Power Outlet (not an old distributor but still in business), formerly Jeff Gordon's Power Outlet...yep, I'm in NC now :shifty:

I was kidding about him being the G.O.A.T, but he was good… trying to get a rise out of someone…

As far as stats, King Richard will never be dethroned!

I'm with you on that. The rainbow machine :notworthy:  had a good run but I don't think anything compares to the Petty days or when BP broke the 200 mph barrier. I think the whole sport has taken a nose dive with yellow flags in every stage but that's just my opinion...:handgestures-thumbdown: :sleeping-blue: but I digress...

So my brother was here this past weekend and I was partially right. Ronnie is running the car dealership and Joe's brother (Leroy I believe) has the Wheel Horse side of the house, still in business. Still Jack's Wheel Horse in Sarver PA.

BTW, great visit with my brother and it sounds like he might be back in the market for a :wh:. Seeing mine made him wish he hadn't gotten rid of his. He had two up until a few years ago.

Jacks in Sarver, Pa. closed end of last year. It was owned by Clyde and Rita Jack Bush. They were also Stihl.

There is a write up on Butler Eagle newspaper website if interested.

They are probably on here.

So I have been wanting to put this together to share with everyone.  I find this stuff very interesting!  This is all the paperwork the original owner and my grandpa (the 2nd owner) kept up with throughout the years!  I love all the little notes and number written all over it!  Maybe other people will also find this fun!   It was purchased from a deal down in Kerrville, Tx but I cannot find the name of the place.

PS. Lee Lightner was the original owner.  He was a general in the Army back in his day at least that is what my grandpa told me!  I believe my grandpa got it around late 90s maybe early 2000s.  I have had it since about 2012 or 2013 and this is one I will never part with as it means a whole lot to me!

I see a Pennsylvania connection in these two documents...  Ray's / Ray's Lawn & Salvage in Boyertown PA.  I haven't been out that way in several years, but there used to be a Ray's Mower Shop there that still shows up in online searches.  It's not clear whether they're still in that business, but I suspect not because there's currently a Ray's Wranglers operating from that same address and phone number ("specializing in used 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler parts").

My grandpa was known for ordering parts from wherever as he was not to tech savvy so he didn’t get on the internet or anything.
