Teddy da Bear 11 #1 Posted December 22, 2008 Well after I thought the snow coming our way had fizzled... It came back with a vengence. We were under blizzard warning until Monday morning. When we woke.....we had approximately 14" of snow here. But the drifting was higher. And the driveway had filled in to about level in most places. It was about 25" deep between the sides of the drive where I pushed snow beofore. The Super C broke through just enough to get a car out. But there was no where left to push it. So I hooked up a snowblower I never tried before. Went on easy to the B-100. But of course the B would not start. Put some starting fluid in it and we were off! Did not do a bad job. I think the drift cutters are on backwards. Finally got pictures to load.....

Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted December 23, 2008 We got a bunch of the white stuff also about a foot, and 2 foot drifts, I planed for more snow and push the first snow we got into the yard about 6 feet, today I got the blower out, it's nice not having piles with the blower, but the snow we just got is too fluffy and don't blow well, except on me I need to mount the cab I got this summer, and the driff cutters, I have 5 blowers and about half are one way and the rest the other, right or wrong, I put mine on the front of the blower so the bolt heads (cariage bolts Selling) face the snow and the tips of the cutters face straight forward. MaineDad 87 #4 Posted December 23, 2008 Great pictures! Looks like fun. Is that your driveway in those pics? A lot of turns...
Teddy da Bear 11 #5 Posted December 23, 2008 Yeah.....that's the drive (350ft.)..... Architectually nice looking......but poses difficulties when plowing. Usually I have flags out to mark the drive, but this years early snow caught me off guard. I also plow out a large part of the backyard for other vehicles and trailers. And another 400ft. to the pole barn. I started out at 9:30 this morning and did not finish until 1:30 pm. It was very very cold today. I can usually plow the whole deal in an hour....but not with today's snow and frozen piles from last time. And that time included mounting a new snowblower and getting a finicky tractor to start. I am hoping to plant more pines and cut down on the wind, making drifts in the drive. I really could not believe how deep that snow was over one night's time... And now we are under another winter storm advisory until Wednesday morning. Kelly.....yeah...I was a snowman after blowing the snow back. That gave me the shakes for the rest of the day......lol
