So I have always been into old outboards and boats but as of about 3-4 years ago my buddy Kenb invited me to a meet (kinda like meet and greet). After that my son and I were hooked. We joined the club and another member sent me this photo of my son Brennan changing motors at a local meet on the river in Shelton last fall. This photo was on the cover of the club's magazine. Pretty cool stuff and thought I would share.

No prob Steve, I first looked at it and I thought the boat was capsized and I almost dove thru the screen after him... then I said whew ...he's got a life jacket on...then I said oh his old man has got the picture turned!!

Also, good to see him wearing a vest. I see too many kids on the water without them.

I know, all us old guys survived anyway, but there seem to be a lot more people on the water that don't have a clue about boating.

Yes you have a good kid ther Steve...got to talk to him briefly at the show ...seemed to handle that fancy LSE  pretty good I might add, sure had the motion lever down pat!

He was excited but I do not think he realizes what a big deal it is....
