whchris 5 #1 Posted December 22, 2008 ok the first storm is over finally now the fun is over for me while i didn't get any wheel horse seat time i got plenty of gmc topkick seat time started at 2:30pm on Friday took a 2 hour nap from 9pm to 11pm and back out then got to go home for the night last night from 7pm to 3am and just got home around 7pm 42 payed hours for the first storm (ok so there were some coffee and food breaks and the occasional 30 min nap) but im gonna go sleep now catch y'all later Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

whchris 5 #5 Posted December 22, 2008 pictures! im not risking the camera in the truck and i haven't even started around here yet battery in the tractor was froze solid sides bulging so i headed off to walmart got the replacement one month out of the 2 year free replacement so it cost me $2.20 with the pro rating, they didn't have my battery any more so went with closest match. got it home barley fits and the starters froze solid so its by the wood stove thawing by the time i get to anything around here its gonna be dark. but will try to get some of the old Massey doing its job Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
KyBlue 655 #6 Posted December 22, 2008 I haveta Admidt... For the first time in probably a month to a month and a half - its been in the single digits today.. It took a bit of cranking, but not alot.. no Starting aid was used, didnt have to take the heater to it.. Im Proud of my WH... Now the front tires... Flat...with HUGE flat Spots.. Nothing like moving something with flat spots...Clunk!.....Clunk!....Clunk!.... Aired em up, but they wont stay. Need to pickup some replacements. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
linen beige 15 #7 Posted December 24, 2008 I got up this morning at 6 and walked outside in my bare feet for a smoke. Got on a plane at 10. Walked out of the airport here at home at 3:30 and promply went down on my knees on the ice! Our van was frozen to the ground where it sat for a week. Ft. Lauderdale was nice while it lasted.
