TimH 105 #1 Posted June 26, 2016 A couple weeks ago. I changed my gas lines , took out the messed up screen in gas tank. Added a inline fuel filter and took apart carb and cleaned. I did flush gas line before hooking gas line up to clean carb. Made sure float was adjusted right. So the problem I have is engine seems to act like it's running out of gas at time s. Only when the mower deck is engaged. Has a waboro carb on it. ? is Could it be in the carb adjustment ? Any suggestions on what to use if I want to install a electric fuel pump ? scotty 252 #4 Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) Napa should have the points and condenser. Ive bought those from my local napa. It looks like eBay has some new carbs for the 12 hp kohler. Edited July 3, 2016 by scotty

Aldon 4,828 #6 Posted July 3, 2016 Lots of eBay vendors. Last one I used was "Isavetractors" . Carb manufacturer or at least the name on the box it was in was BBT.

tunahead72 2,548 #8 Posted July 3, 2016 Tim, are you sure you need a new carb? You mentioned it only acts up when the deck is engaged, how does it run otherwise?

It's running worse as time goes. Not going to take the time to rebuild carb or clean it again. One thing I have found over the years is Walboro carbs with little adjustment. You have to just replace them. Just going to get the guys to take it to our warehouse Tuesday and work on it this winter.
