Tecumseh carb replacements

Recommended Posts

Live4outdoors

Here we are days from big show, I've rebuilt the carb twice, had a small engine shop go over my work and I have a bad running 653,. I know everyone raves on these Chinese carbs but there are too many h60 replacements available and none look even close to mine.  I can have one by Tuesday off amazon and ready for the big show but not sure which one is right.  Thanks all.

All the replacements have the real high choke lever and mine is flat.  I saw your earlier post about your good luck but not sure what to use and now outta time...LOL like always

Just change out the choke shafts. I do it all the time and works like a charm.

Or just simply bend that bracket holding the conduit up a little. If needed you can also bend the choke lever down a little too.

Thanks all! Got it running again, still a little temperamental but the best she's ever run, spent an hour fine tuning the best I can get it!

Live4outdoors  Looks good glade you found one. What is the wood for rope pull start? Have fun at the big show.

I'm not sure what the wood was for maybe to stop vibration, the original owner had it in there and I just kept it.  Any ideas?
