RJ and Suburban heat shield fix ..maybe?

I have had an original heat shield for a while now,,,,,,

Then i had a thought.....

 

it dont rattle,,,it dont slide down....

Call in now.....your thoughts welcome

But you must  call now....operators are standing buy                     Oh and my 401 in its winter skinneys

Awesome.  I'm doing something very similar for my son's suburban.  I picked up a couple of ground clamps like you use to ground a wire to a water line to use (type with "teeth" to grab the pipe.

Dell,,,i saw these at Lowes,,,i dont even remember seeing these in a building....i had to change the little screws,,i couldnt get a screwdriver behind it....so I used small socket head screws....works great...

Now i have to give her a good cleaning

:handgestures-thumbupright:  That sure beats the old broom handle clips. Don't have to remember to take it off when traveling so it won't fall off.  :woohoo:

Only problem I had was that I had to open up the holes a little for the screws.

Dell,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,same here....bigger holes,,,but,,,,im ok with it !!!!!!:banana-explosion::banana-dance:

Richard,,,,,,,,that was the problem !!!!!!   falling off.....
