Digger 66 3,476 #1 Posted June 12, 2016 I stopped by Mom's Thursday after work & when I walked in she was sitting on the patio crying . She looked at me & told me to sit down . She had to put her best friend of 13 years down . "Miss Cassie" had some sort of intestinal problem & it was the best thing for her Sunday dinner at mom's will never be the same as Cassie would always greet me at the door , walk in front of me into the dining room & "flop down" on her side to have her cheeks rubbed . She was around when my Dad was still alive so that big part of me has gone too . Just wanted to let you guys know as there's some pics of my "best-girl" in the family pets thread . Off to get some more Kleenex ......

rmaynard 14,909 #3 Posted June 12, 2016 I know how you feel. Have had to put down two beloved cats within the last year. It's never easy. The spirit of Miss Cassie will still be there to greet you.
