Son struck in a crosswalk

Recommended Posts

mels

Cops knocked on our door at 0500hrs Saturday morning.  Our 29 year old (in two weeks) Son was hit in a crosswalk in New Milford (CT) early Saturday morning.  He hasn't regained consciousness yet, though they're slowly weening him back.  Through Gods Grace he has zero broken bones.  His brain however is the concern.  Gents, my Wife is flat-out freaking out.  This morning we received the news that in addition to everything else that's going on, he now has pneumonia.  Pretty eerie when you show up at the ICU to identify your Son and the nameplate on the wall above his bed says Doe.

He and our other Son were both born on Fathers' Day, he in '87 the other in '89.

His name is Mark.  Please keep him in your prayer.

Thank you all.

Have just returned from the hospital, Marks fever has come down a little.  Thankful for the little things right now, because when our lives become so small so fast, the little things ARE the big things.

Combat Veteran here, I'm pretty good at keeping things all about business.  Even now, though man when it's one of your own it's just different.

Grace and peace,

Mel and Cindy
