muz123 1,192 #1 Posted May 21, 2016 I just picked up this 416 and it looked really bad. I paid 500 for it. The 16hp Onan sounds very nice with 1500 hours. I think someone just left the key on which made the clock keep ticking but still unsure. So i repainted it, new oil filter, air filter and put some weights on it. I really love this tractor. It makes very nice stripes with the mulcher 42". Its like a mix between a 300 series and 500 and is perfect. I'm planning to put my dual stage on this next winter. It will just be a bear to lift! Over all for it being my first time with a 400 series its sweet. Here are some pictures of this stallion!

elcamino/wheelhorse 9,362 #3 Posted May 21, 2016 Take a word of advise , get shorter bolts or cut them off, I still have a place on ugly left leg that hurts from an encounter with a bolt like that. By the way nice tractor.

THE WHEEL WEIGHT BOLTS OR STUDS STICKING OUT JUST WAITING PATIENTLY FOR A NEW VICTIM......

JAinVA 4,638 #9 Posted May 22, 2016 muz123, I think you will love the new horse.I own a 416h and a 416 -8.Of the 300 through 500 series I like the 400 series the best.It is hard for me to decide which I like better of the 400 series so naturally I opted for one of each. One is Kohler powered and one has an Onan. Darn good working tractors.Luck,JAinVA
