pfrederi 18,694 #26 Posted April 29, 2016 To "prime" I just spray some carb cleaner into the carb then crank. She should fire and run briefly. Repeat 2 -3 times and the pump will take over.
LFR 39 #27 Posted April 30, 2016 Well guys I got the old horsey to fire! It won't run on its own because somethings wrong with the carb but it does run! It ran for 2 seconds
953 nut 60,108 #28 Posted April 30, 2016 Have you pulled the carb. off and cleaned it with carb. cleaner or Lacquer thinner? could bee the needle and seat are stuck tight or there is too much trash in the passages to allow the gas to be pulled into the jets.
LFR 39 #29 Posted April 30, 2016 YAY! It is a running motor with all original stock fuel system! And it doesn't run bad! The carb looks like someone ran dirt and rust through it! And my fuel pump works! here is the video! Follow my channel for awesome videos of tractors of all types
