jerrell 1 #1 Posted December 14, 2008 :hide: I just lost a deal of my lifetime, i was browsing ebay and saw this wh, it was the silver anaversity(ms) model, 357.00 in tiskilwa IL, and i was looking up the town when my *&^%%^$*&* pc went on the blink and could't getg back on site to bid on it, I'll bet someone on this forum bought it, it was in very very good condition,,,,O well, i found out that the town it was in is about 200 more miles than i am traveling to next weekend, i could have gotten two and made the trip really worth it... :hide:

jerrell 1 #5 Posted December 14, 2008 Yeah guys , what made this one attractive to me , was it was just a few miles further than springfield il, and i could have picked up 2 instead of 1, <_< TT that one is in Pa,, just a little to far for me to travel and besides i may not be able to get back because of the weather up there , boy those states are getting hammered and it looks like they will get another blast... :hide:
Rollerman 290 #6 Posted December 14, 2008 Jerrel just a heads up on the 2500 Anniversary Speacial & I'm biased.... They had a light duty 8 speed in them & a non rebuildable aluminium bore B&S engine. I know this as I had one when I first got into the collecting bug & I was still learning too, but was told once the bore goes....... I guess what I'm saying is the only thing "speacial" about them is the name. If you wanted a true collector in great condition...maybe worth it to some? For a worker or clean user tractor...there are better out there.
jerrell 1 #7 Posted December 14, 2008 :hide: Stephen, good info, wanted to swap the tranny , maybe it was a blessing in disguise, what i would really like is a parts tractor to rob parts of of .
