But I liked the silver. and it took longer to get it the normal black red or green. And today was not the day to be on interstate 70, the gusts of wind were a challenge, but me and the ram did it.

Achto 26,609 #18 Posted April 3, 2016 Very nice trailer!!! 3 hours ago, Digger 66 said: Best invention known to man ? BEARING BUDDIES ! I have a love / hate relationship with these, especially if you buy a used trailer. Usually when you see bearing buddies it means that the last time anyone actually looked at the bearings was when they were installed at the factory. I have done a bearing service on some trailers that had bearing buddies and found junk bearings, usually on the inside bearing. Buddies are great but you should still do a true bearing service every two to four years depending on the miles you put on. Again very nice trailer!
bob's toy 32 #19 Posted April 3, 2016 Very nice trailer..makes me want to get mine redone..needs lots of work actually. But that is one very nice trailer and hope you enjoy it.
Retired Wrencher 4,887 #20 Posted April 3, 2016 elliot ness Very nice. Very handy to have . There is always a need for a trailer of any kind. I just pick a Harbor Freight 1195lbs 4x8. I know I know but it will always be inside. It folds nicely and does not take up much room. And I do have Bearing Buddy's on it. I also tube the wirers. It has taken me almost a month to put it together just finished it yesterday. I hope you will enjoy yours. Take care of it. If you are not hauling you not having fun.

Slightly off topic, but me and a buddy were hauling trailers into Silver Lake sand dunes one time and from starting and stopping his Silverado enough times the security system locked it out of starting for 45 minutes or so. Since we were in line to get into the park I hooked his truck and trailer to my trailer and the DNR office letting us in tried to nab me for towing behind my trailer! Even given circumstances, we were still on a county road when he saw us, so his legalities were legit... but he still let us in after some pleading.
