kj4kicks 154 #1 Posted December 10, 2008 Progress has been slow but steady. Ready for paint, as soon as the windows and doors are covered, and the contents are moved outside. Looks like Thursday will be the day. Calling for rain all day tomorrow.
Sparky-(Admin) 23,681 #2 Posted December 10, 2008 So is the Buick interior all covered in sheetrock dust ? Looks good of course. Will it be heated? Mike.........

pond195520032003 27 #4 Posted December 10, 2008 looks good E love to have a garage like that, or for that matter just a garage :D
Rollerman 290 #5 Posted December 10, 2008 Looking great E....Buick looks good in there showing the Horses it's boss....even with the dust. Just curious do you have running water in either of the garages (new or original side) with running water & a drain? Would like to have that feature in or future "castle " for washing cars & or tractors in the winter.

kj4kicks 154 #7 Posted December 10, 2008 Thanks guys ! The dust on the Buick isn't as bad as the flash makes it look. I didn't sand the drywall seams, but instead used the wet sponge method. The original garage has a floor drain in the center bay, and also has H&C water. Cable TV, telephone, and high-speed internet connection round out the ammenities. Heat is FHA gas for both sides. The new side will also have a bathroom, and a loft above the cars for addition storage. Now they're calling for rain all day tomorrow, so painting may get delayed until next week E.
