KC9KAS 4,744 #1 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) Hopefully this will save some wear & tear on my body! Need to make it a little wider for the tractors, but that is do-able. Edited March 1, 2016 by KC9KAS spelling

squonk 43,778 #4 Posted March 1, 2016 I know other guys have gotten the HF lift. I was at HF yesterday and usually they have stuff piled on top of the display model but this time it was empty. It was in the raised position so I got a good look at it. Frankly I wasn't impressed. Looked way too flimsy
fireman 1,022 #5 Posted March 1, 2016 They are having their "Parking Lot Sale" on March 11th, 12th and 13th. The lift is going to priced at $299. If your looking to buy one that's the time to do it.

Lane Ranger 11,395 #8 Posted March 2, 2016 Ken that looks to be a lift that is heavier duty than the Harbor Freight one. How high off the ground does it lift?
ztnoo 2,300 #9 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) They are hydraulic lifts, but they are operated with a foot petal to pump with. There are various manual locking height positions to choose from. I have a friend who has one for motorcycle work. The thing I like about them is they aren't pneumatically assisted, but rather independent of an air source, so you don't need a compressor and an air line to operate one. They certainly aren't the super heavy duty lifts (1500-2000# capacity) some of which have optional side platform panels which can be used to increase the working width. Those types of lift typically sell in the $1500-$2000 range minimum, when new. For the money, these aren't that bad at all and are rated at a capacity of 1000 pounds or 1/2 ton. Your not likely to find anything in the way of a lift such as these for less money, or even close to it, for to matter. Even well used pneumatic assisted lifts sell typically for much more than these HF models. Check CL listings to see what I'm talking about. Often throughout the year, HF will also run coupons on these lifts for $299.99. Edited March 2, 2016 by ztnoo

Need to make it a little wider for the tractors, but that is do-able. I bought one of those a while back and it is one of the greatest things i ever bought. Nothing like working on a tractor with a straight back and have place to have your tools organized and at hand. I have worked on my Electro 12 on it and can actually move the whole thing around with the tractor on it safely. I made it wider so wheels are fully bearing on it, and added an electric winch to the end of it. That way I can load a tractor on it without struggling to push it. Not easy pushing large frame tractor on to it. You will definitely like it.
