Lets take a few moments out of our busy lives and give someone thanks.

-Just imagine what something as trivial as a trip to McDonalds would be to someone who hasn't had it in a year.

-Or imagine how good your next shower would feel to someone who hasn't had one in more than a week or two, when they've been playing in a sandbox at 110 degrees.

-Next time you snuggle up in bed with your wife, imagine sleeping without her on a 2 foot-wide cot for a year and a half.

-When the guy at 7/11 ticks you off with an attitude, just be glad he isn't shooting at you...

-Or just imagine the dread of spending the holidays thousands of miles away from your families, knowing it's times you can NEVER get back...

And they're doing it so people like us can sit here on our computers without a care in the world.

Regardless of your "take" on the war(s), and I certainly have my "unusual" view of them, remember the folks who trust the CIC and commanders to send them where they are needed to protect us.
