Irv 115 #3 Posted December 14, 2015 Can they be pushed around fairly easily if not running? And what would cause it to move fairly slowly in forward (approx 3-4 mph) thanks again
cleat 5,000 #4 Posted December 14, 2015 I find with mine that if they have not been ran for a day or two they will push fairly easily. If you just shut the engine off they are hard to push. Slow forward speed may be just a linkage adjustment/worn bushing issue. Cleat
nylyon-(Admin) 7,122 #5 Posted December 15, 2015 The slow moving is usually the linkage on the hydro itself. On mine, there was grass buildup on some of the parts which caused it to not to fully move in the forward direction. Cleaning everything, and adjusting all was well. Pushing isn't usually that easy, like Cleat said, if not run for a while it can be pushed, but otherwise it's hard. The owners manual says to move the directional control full forward to push, I never found it to make much difference but do NOT tow it, it can cause damage.
Irv 115 #6 Posted December 15, 2015 Thanks guys. It's one I looked at but decided against buying because of several issues. Slow moving in forward, onan with almost 1700 hrs, something in or on the transmission clanks when starting up til it's warmed up and tires pretty well worn.
