DougC 2,643 #1 Posted December 13, 2015 Sunday morning December 13th 2015 Heavy rain and thunderstorms happening in central Iowa with flash flood watches and warnings being issued for some areas. Temperature 53 degrees at 8:50 am. Sipping coffee and contemplating looking on Craigs list for used boat, outboard motor and life jackets and maybe a 2 person paddle craft. May start building the ark tomorrow morning in the mud and drizzle and drape Christmas lights over the frame to disguise it from the neighbors. Started carving the NO CATS ALLOWED sign last night and will need to make a run to Walmart to buy large quantity of beer to assist me in the construction process....

Got a couple of hours of seat time yesterday finishing up the leaf gathering around the barn and berry patch.

rjg854 12,175 #11 Posted December 13, 2015 About 55 here in the Finger Lakes of N.Y. working on the tractors, playing with the dog, just enjoying another day without snow and cold. Maybe go for a ride on the 854 just for something to do after the game. Hey it's a dirty job but somebody' s gotta do it.

Wheel-N-It 2,976 #13 Posted December 14, 2015 (edited) Not sure what the high was here today but now at 8:15pm its 60 degrees. It must have been in the low 70's here most all afternoon and mostly Sunny. I put a new battery and cables on the Ariens zero turn, pulled the sweeper around with a Wheel Horse, and sold and delivered a C125 (with 42" SD deck) to a good friend who has been bitten by the WH bug. The time went by much too fast. Edited December 14, 2015 by Wheel-N-It
JPWH 6,338 #14 Posted December 14, 2015 The high here in mid GA was 75 and the wife and I had a 120 mile road trip filling Santa orders from the grandkids. I even managed a little shopping for grandpa at harbor freight.

JPWH 6,338 #16 Posted December 14, 2015 That's what's so good. Nothing! My wife was Santa this trip. I wanted a powder coat system but did not like the one they had so I got a plastic welding kit. Now I will be able to repair my E tank.
