Garage Clean Up After 3 weeks Here It Is!

Recommended Posts

KyBlue

I'm on dukes side with the air line... When we plumb the shops we've always used PVC with no ill effects - three shops now, and the first shop has been in for well over 15 years - nothing blown up yet..knock on wood!

Whenever I get a actual garage/shop I'll be doing the same thing..>While products like the garagepak stuff are nice... who can afford it??

I guess its one of those things, to each his own.

Again :hide::D on the cleanup...whens there gonna be a horse in there... come on now!

Duke I only bought the 4 stroke oil this year fom the Amsoil website. So I paid whatever it is on there. A couple years ago I became a preffered customer and got the discount which was a pretty good discount. I considered becoming a dealer but didn't. But when I did buy the oil a couple years ago I made like a 5 or $600 order and stocked up. I should never need to buy grease again! But the oil

won't last forever. My wifes car requires synthetic oil but the Dealer gives the owners free oil changes which is nice. Plus it's 8 quarts of oil which shocked me since it's only a 6 cylinder car. So that's a nice savings.

Butch need to get you signed up as a Dealer! $30.00 bones a year and will show ya the ropes! In my group ya get a free website! all ya hafta pay is 9.99 a year for a domain name. I make enough off my website that I get all my oil for free! well worth being an AMSOIL dealer!

Duke do you keep a good stock on hand for people or do you have it dropped shipped from Amsoil? When I bought my first quart years ago I drove 60 miles to get it and as I recall he had inflated the MSRP. There are a lot of Amsoil websites but I don't know if any are around me. But when I want oil I don't wanna wait for it. That's why I was wondering if you keep a good supply on hand and people come to your house to get it. I would want people coming to me for it to avoid all the shipping. Getting it mail order seems like you would be competeing with the main company itself. But I do like the stuff.

Butch the best (2) ways, is have them sign up as a PC preffered customer they then purchase at the same cost as a dealer. Or the second way as a dealer is to sign up an on the shelf retail account locally in your area he can then sell to these people. You get a couple on the shelf retail accounts under yer belt you will be chitting in tall cotton! For every dollar they sell you make .20 cents! If you ever decide to be a dealer I can send you an app and teach you the buisness. You can also become T1 certified as I am and there are advantages to that also. Being you are retired a dealer option may be a good option for you. I will be doing more with it when I retire in 5 years 9 months and 19 days but who's counting! :hide:

As far as competing with AMSOIL they dont care how its done as long as product is sold! :D

Not to really get off topic (its kinda already gone that way)

Eh The whole not caring as long as product as sold.. thats my big problem with AmsOil..they might have a great product, but I have been put off by so many dealers who will do anything to push the product on you..

With no offense to you duke, or any other Amsoil dealer...I'll stick with Royal Purple..

Scott No offence taken, What I meant by AMSOIL doesn't care how it is sold meaning it is okay with them however it is sold, Dealers, Online, Out of A Garage Off A Shelf,

From Them, doesn't matter.

Don't take offence to this, But I know of more than one person that blew their Hot Rods running Royal Purple! Rousch Racing uses AMSOIL and thats good enough for me!

I really doubt RP was at fault for the motor failure... Ive run it in my trucks for the last 5 years - but im not gonna debate whats better with you (this is part of my dislike for amsoil) or anything like that. Youve got your product and believe in it, and I use my RP ..

And Rod...Ford didnt have to do like Chevy and make everything interchangable like the SB and BBs so when it breaks..you can goto any junkyard and get the part off any of the other motors...doesnt have to be a specific one.. :hide:

Thats right! 500 miles over 10,000 rpm of the most grueling punishment you can put on an engine. And many engines still blow! If Fords Suck Chevys Swallow! :D
