jerrell 1 #1 Posted November 30, 2008 :D I guess i'm getting a little long in the tooth, as they used to say, i went out yesterday to remove the mower on the C 175 and put the dozer blade on to do some experementing with it, never used one before and do some dirt work, I unhooked the mower and let it fall on the ground and tried to pull it from under the tractor, couldn't do it. Pizzed me off good time, so just backed over the darn thing, was worried it would bend the belt housing but it didn't. It's getting a little cold down here, 40's at night and about 50-60- during the days and my old knees just aren't what they used to be. BUT What i was going to say at first was i thought the snow plow would just move the dirt around a little but that thing did so well i shoved up mounds of dirt that my big tractor wouldn't do with the back blade, pushing it and placing it where you want it is so much better than just dragging it around. that plow worked just fine. :horseplay: :horseplay:  i graded my two ditches of my drive way, (about 600 feet) and shaped up the driveway beautifully. At first i did not think that a snow plow could do so many different things . now for a mid mount blade for finishing .. :hide:
MaineDad 87 #2 Posted November 30, 2008 The dozer blade works pretty well. Glad you did not damage the deck. Turning the front wheels all the way to the left helps...
Butch 194 #3 Posted November 30, 2008 With all the snow coming why don't all you guys take pics of your tractor and the jobs they did. I'd be interested in seeing them.
