DennisThornton 4,769 #5 Posted November 14, 2015 I'm an Ohio transplant but I've been told that folks from the CITY tend to refer to the entire rest of the state as "upstate"!
953 nut 52,066 #6 Posted November 14, 2015 t I've been told that folks from the CITY tend to refer to the entire rest of the state as "upstate"! You are right about that Dennis. When I lived in the Syracuse area (central NY) my cousin who lived south of Binghamton, (almost in PA) claimed to be an Upstater, go figure!

DennisThornton 4,769 #8 Posted November 15, 2015 I'm less than an hour from another country so surely I must live in upstate NY. You know! As a side note, I've used Craigslist Pro on my Android to check for WH stuff since this last January or so and I included Montreal in the search! I cannot remember a single hit for Wheel Horse or WheelHorse! Either no one is parting with them or perhaps they never migrated north of the border!
