Horse Fanatic 49 #6 Posted November 28, 2008 Hey thanks. I should mention I've met a couple nice people who are members here. I bought the 516-H from RideawaySenior and "Wallfish" John (with the homebuilt back hoe attachment) gave me the chute rotating crank assembly missing from my snowblower. John you can see it's on and it works great.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,059 #15 Posted November 28, 2008 Glenn, By the looks of your driveway and the rear tires on those machines I am going to guess you never runs tire chains... My driveway does not look that nice.. Great looking group of wheel horses... Are you interested in sellling the 516 or 4 series? I have a friend that is looking for one. Steve in CT-

Horse Fanatic 49 #17 Posted November 28, 2008 Duff, I'm in western Mass right near UMass Amherst. I see you have a 312-8 too. In 20 years, aside from normal maintenance, the only repairs the tractor has needed was one tire needed a tube and a bearing in one of the mule drive pulleys went bad. It still has the original drive belt. I can't imagine any other machine being more trouble free than that. Steve, The driveway is only a few months old. I used to do it with turf tires and chains. This year I was going to try ag tires to see if I could avoid scraping up the driveway. I just bought a neglected '88 520-H (yes it has a maroon stripe!), when I finish it, I might want to sell one of the other ones. I'll let you know. Thanks, Glenn
