dpnewell 4 #1 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) Approximately 10 years ago, I recall seeing a Wheel Horse Jeepie prototype or a preproduction unit listed on ebay. It had a 36"RD deck on it and the seller was in AZ. Does anyone have any info on these? It looked like a Jepp CJ on the front and had the deck under it, and was functional. Allegedly, these were built in the early 70's .Just curious what engine and how many were ever made....shoulda bought that one back then. Thanks! JAinVA 4,636 #3 Posted October 31, 2015 Are you sure it was a Wheel Horse?There was a Jeep look-a-like tractor built in the 60's called the Roof Palomino.Hope I spelled that right.If what you saw is one of those,they are by now a very pricey collectable.From what I've read they were well built,tough as nails and expensive.If memory serves, they were the same price new as a VWBeetle was.Do a search on the internet for the Roof and check out the images.This may be what you saw.Luck,JAinVA 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
