My first Wheel Horse that I drug home (literally) @#$% calcium chloride (it no likey metal rims). Doing a complete teardown. BTW great informative site. Wish Gravely on Yahoo was like this Ilike the ease of finding posts of different subjects.

Here's a thread about recoil starters to get you going. Hard to find an origional one, but a Tecumseh recoil will work.

:hide: It was my daddy's 400 that got me started. You found one that still has the engine controls! BTW, that hood side decal is not original.

As for recoils, keep your eyes open on Ebay for complete K-91s. Non running gear reduction equipped ones come up quiet often with the recoils on them and go for less than just the recoil.

Can you give us a pic of the rear hitch? It looks interesting.

sorry guys I begged my 5 year old for a different color but he wanted green. just remember it's not what's on the outside but on the inside awesome photoshop btw. I'll have the paper bag on my head at the PA show ( some will want it to be a plastic bag) :D
