Cab and the Snow Blower Chute Adjuster

Recommended Posts

Well I have my new to me Original Tractor Cab on my C-175 but I noticed that the chute rotator handle is too short. It won't go all the way into the cab through the little slit in the cab opening.
Was there an extension that you could purchase from Wheel Horse for this application? I need about 8 to 12 inches. (Don't we all).

Thanks in Advance!

I'm not sure about your C175, but on my 520H and Original Cab, there is an extension tube, about 12" long.  It came with the cab.  It moves the crank rearward and inside the cab.

Yep the extension came with the cab. Also a L bracket that mounted to the frame of the cab help support the lever.

I solved this by buying a chunk of 3/8 round stock from TSC and got a 3/8" shaft coupler from a hardware store. Cut the length needed and drilled a hole for the snap pin. added the coupler and put the existing rod in and done!

Thanks guys! This is what I thought and I know where the extension is!

Oh Chev0545!  Dave! Oh buddy! I need something from you! It's on your tractor most likely!  :D

Yup! It was on Dave's tractor. The L shaped bracket was already on the frame and your right. It does help support the extra length.
Thanks again!

Looks better than the cotter pins sticking out of the supplied extension!
