Andy would play the guitar at the jail, There would be 20 guys at Floyd's but no one was getting a haircut, Thelma Lou was at home, Barney wandered all over on foot. There was never a car at the gas station getting worked on, Andy would take the patrol car fishing. Helen was the closest with a job but she had one class and always had time to show up at the jail and complain about Opie.They had that one couple that fought like cats and dogs all the time but I can't remember their names. The Andy Griffith show ran Eight seasons...1961-1968. Mayberry RFD was an off shot of the A.G show. That started in 1969 and was cancelled after a few season(s).
