82Caddy 851 #1 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm looking for some gaskets/parts to put my D-160 back together. I've tried the usual google/local toro dealer (not very helpful since I didn't want a new tractor :/ ) 102759 GASKET 103184 RING BACKUP 971015 O RING 971015 O RING 102817 SEAL-MANIFOLD BOLT - Discontinued (looks like a copper crush washer) 5999 GASKET - Discontinued 6449 SEAL-OIL 103350 Parking Pawl - Discontinued 5992 Strainer - Discontinued The discontinued notes are mine from what I've found on google. The only one I'm really concerned about is the 5999 gasket that goes between the case halves. I can deal without the parking pawl (both of mine are pretty mangled and I doubt they'd hold if needed). I can make a gasket with the make your own sheets but if I can get the right one I'd rather do that. I'm betting the strainer can be cleaned up without issue as well so no loss there if I can't find a new one.Anyone have any other suggestions for where to find some of these parts?I have new axle seals as well to go in there. Bearings all look/feel good and have some new 12.9 grade bolts with nylock nuts for the differential.See anything I'm missing to put this back together? 82Caddy 851 #4 Posted September 19, 2015 Thanks for trying to help guys but I can't find anything on the McMaster website. Must be missing something there. Does anyone one have a link to the 5999 gasket since that's the one I'm worried about leaking and can't seem to locate. Lots of work to get back to that one for replacement. pfrederi 18,411 #5 Posted September 20, 2015 Gasket material and make your own for the case gasket 5999. Do not use silicone. some of it will always ooze out tot eh inside and there are lots of tiny hole in a hydro that it can plug up and cause you many many headaches.Gasket material and sealing washers are available from Mc Master They have the o rings (you have to buy a hundred) but I haven't found the correct backer ones there.or you can use a copper crush washer from your local auto parts store they should also have gasket material .
