cdsl810 181 #1 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) I'm having an issue with the throttle slowly "pushing back" and moving from full throttle down to idle all on its own. It feels as if something is actually pushing back from the governor and causing it to throttle itself down. If I hold the throttle up, everything is fine--let go and it creeps down. The engine runs perfectly smooth, no searching, no burning, quick starting, etc. The throttle cable attachment and governor spring location look the same as my other 520-H. cdsl810 181 #5 Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) The rivet is rusted off. I'm going to have to punch it out of there and install new hardware. Not any rust on the lever--go figure.I never get over people spending $6,000+ on a garden tractor and letting it sit outside. At the very least cover it up to protect your investment. The PO just kept this one parked beside his house, just like his truck. I bought it because of the low hours (400), great running engine, and bonus 2-stage blower with snow cab. It's also cool to say you have a 50th Anniversary Wheel Horse. For $800 it was a steal... worth dealing with a little neglect.
