BOB ELLISON 2,981 #1 Posted August 18, 2015 I got this when I bought my wheel horse 520h,the guy said it was for the tractor ,But I told him it is not fora wheel horse because it was not long enough to hook to the back axle bracket, and the lift would notwork. I couldn't not take it since I was getting it for free. Maybe some one would recognize it .it is very heavy made, might be able to add to it so it would work on a wheel horse with a little weldingor sell it to some one for the right type tractor . it had a bar attached with a bolt onthe back about 2 feet long you can see a little of it on side photo . daveoman1966 3,841 #3 Posted August 18, 2015 I'm thinkin it is for a Bolens or maybe a Cadet.
Ed Kennell 42,114 #4 Posted August 18, 2015 Looks like it could be a home made mount to fit a front attach-a-matic with a snowblower style push/lift bar .
DennisThornton 4,771 #5 Posted August 18, 2015 I think I recently saw something real similar and pretty sure it was a Bolens. Not like any WH I've seen.

BOB ELLISON 2,981 #8 Posted August 18, 2015 I think I found it after searching all over the internet. it is a Simplicity 1690089 - 46" Snow Plow & Dozer Blade Hitch.but I think ekennell is right some one tried to modify it for a wheel horse or something they welded it very good.it has the same type handle to unlock the latch to turn the blade. thank you allhttp://www.michaelstractors.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=
DennisThornton 4,771 #9 Posted August 19, 2015 Bob I think you found it. Well, at least what it was and at least who made the blade. Still don't know what it would fit but it sure won't fit a Simplicity anymore. Here the Bolens picture I was thinking about. Similar but not it. I wonder what it fits now? And how did you find the Simplicity pdf?
BOB ELLISON 2,981 #10 Posted August 19, 2015 Dennis I went looking on google for plow pictures and found one that looked close to it and from there I found this number Allis Chalmers Snow Plow/Dozer/Grader Blades 1690089 - 46" Snow Plow & Dozer Blade Hitch.so I googledthis number and it says it is a Simplicity 1690089 - 46" Snow Plow & Dozer Blade. BOB ELLISON 2,981 #13 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) OK GUYSI just had to find out if this plow fit. like the guy I bought it from said the old man used it for plowing with the520h I bought from him .well it did hook up to the front attach-o- matic just like ekennell said it looked like. added thebar that came with it and it lifts and lowers perfectly ,and I thought he was a nut. boy do I feel likethe dummy. just thought you would like to know...it will not go in last notch's it hits tire , it can only use center and 1 notch left and right or 3 notch's. but it is angled enough with that. I kinda like it this way all the push is on the front of the frameand not on the axle and plate. what do you guys think ?? I'm not going to paint it wh red it will be orange Edited November 4, 2015 by BOB ELLISON
Ed Kennell 42,114 #14 Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) I like it. Looks like it has excellent leverage for easy lifting. A couple things I may be concerned about is the additional stress placed on the trans axle mounting plate, although They are very easy to beef up with backing plates. The other is with the high attachment point, the front wheels may tend to lift and the push / lift rod will see a lot of force when pushing hard or if you hit a solid object. I can't be sure, but it looks like the mount frame will hit the axle before it hits the tie rods. Edited November 4, 2015 by ekennell
BOB ELLISON 2,981 #15 Posted November 5, 2015 EkennellThis 520h has the axle plate reinforced with a 1/4 in plateFrom the factory .i don't think it will hurt it there.time will tell.i don't think I will have to use it with the c160 that i just finished.
