chorusguy 222 #1 Posted July 16, 2015 This is a newer c160. My other two don't have this little black nipple on them. This thing sticks out pretty far and the inside of the rim nearly touches it. pfrederi 17,147 #2 Posted July 16, 2015 Do you mean the dark colored cap on the end of the shaft coming out of the hydro motor?? Looks like a protective cap over the shaft the brake drum should be mounted on. Later model sundstrands added a real brake. The metal plate in the upper right with 2 holes in it looks like the mounting point for the brake bad that would have wrapped around the drum Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
