Texas Todd 1,025 #1 Posted July 12, 2015 I have had a 1989 312-8 for some time now. I have never been happy with the cut. The mower deck is 1542SC01. That tells me it is a 42" cut and I have seen on this site where the proper blade kit is 106636. But when I search for that deck number, it shows deck 106637, which is a 48" deck.
