I think it must be 71 because the diagram on this site is wrong. i just don't know how this thing works. So any help would be greatly appreciated. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,524 #4 Posted June 30, 2015 Just remember the breakerless ignition is self-powered and treated like a magneto ignition. The lone ignition wire from the engine is simply grounded to shut the engine off.DO NOT allow any battery voltage into the ignition wire as that will destroy the ignition coil.Garry Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dad&Kev 31 #5 Posted July 1, 2015 Thanks for the info buddy. Thats exactly what I did not understanding the system and cooked a few things. But i bought a used motor at the show a changed the bad parts and it started wright up. One more hard lesson learned! Could not have dune it with out your help thanks again.
