Alex from GA 3 #1 Posted June 26, 2015 I wouldn't pay the $200 for a new coil so I went to some local small engine repair shops and looked through their used stuff. One person had a 5 gallon bucket of coils and said I can look for one in it. Out of all the coils I found one that had the right spacing and the holes looked large enough for the bolts to go through. After checking it with a meter I took it home and tried it on the engine. I couldn't adjust it to the right gap so I drilled the holes a small bit larger and had .008" gap. Put on a new spark plug cable and fired it up. Just got done mowing the upper yard and it works great. $22.38 for the coil and plug wire.
