I've got a question concerning the deck Mike,

Were the 75's zerkless or did you drill thru the cover plates and replace the spindles with zerks on that  deck ??

Your entire job  sure looks awesome .

The 1973-1975 decks were side discharge standard. The deck you see in the images is actually a 78350 model which came out in the early '90's. I traded the original SD deck for an RD deck, due to the narrow areas I have to cut around. The SD deck didn't fit through those area. Not sure about the earlier decks and whether or not they had zerk fittings on the tops.

My 76's original 36" RD deck did not come with zerks but you could buy a rebuild kit with greasable bearings which my dad added in the 90's.

Mike, I was just trying to date your deck a bit by looking at it, compared to my  '75 C-100 SD,. Thanks much for for the info

The deck is a 1993 version. Rather new-ish! :)
