I got fed up with fighting them and got one of the Harbor Freight changers. Low cost and it works great. :)

I bring them to work and let the guys do them for me. perks of the job I guess. I hate doing tires.

I did tires twice...never again. Perhaps I had the wrong tools or knowledge...major PITA as far as I'm concerned. :banghead:

 

I wait for my cars to need tires, then throw them in the mix at the local tire joint. They usually do them for free for me.

I have a harbor freight one and find myself using my grandfather's old hand operated bead breaker and tire spoons. I could not change the skid steer tires I just put on my C195 so I had to use the local tire shop.

Made one out of scrap parts a couple of years back and I often wonder why I waited soo long I now do the entire neighbor hood....  Works like a charm!
