953 nut 52,961 #2 Posted May 9, 2015 Studded snow tires came out in the late '60s. My guess would be that these are 12" car tires that were put on by a previous owner, quite a few small cars in the early '70 had 12" tires. Do the tires have any DOT numbers on them?
