Looks great! I was never a fan of folks who painted the entire hood red.

Nice variety with the plastic and metal hoods. It is Interesting to see the different headlight treatment between the two. Also interesting is the evolution from the B-series of 1974-1977 headlights to the 300/400/500 series (and Workhorse) of 1985 on.

Thanks all. Yeah at first I was ok with the red top hood but now that I've had 2 of them for a few years I don't like it as much, just looks naked with out the black. Especially sitting next to the other 2 original black hoods I have. I'm really a fan of the black. Waiting on decals now to put on the front of it. Don't think I will go with the original black and silver small horse head that you see on them. I think will go with the red and white 2.125" decal. Should really pop on the black paint.

I can't remember the brand of paint till I get home to see, but it was a wheel paint from TSC store, matt finish, but has a good luster to it I think. Not to shiny but not flat.
