canam1991 2 #1 Posted November 6, 2008 :hide: I just heard that wheel horse produced a d250 4x4 diesel That was only sold over seas and never made it over here is this true??? :D
Sparky-(Admin) 19,656 #2 Posted November 6, 2008 Might be true but if it is they were not built by Wheel Horse. The D-250 was made by a German company and not by Wheel Horse. WH bought em and had the Wheel Horse decals stuck on them. Mike..........
Rollerman 290 #3 Posted November 6, 2008 Can't think of the name/company that produced the D 250....but do recall it evolved into a sub compact with a front assist & a deisel. But they were never imported or under the Wheel Horse name. I wouldn't guess anything is interchangeable either....it be like compareing a B-165 to a C-165.....look similiar but differant. :hide:

CasualObserver 3,406 #8 Posted November 6, 2008 I think they're part of MTD on a international level. Look at the logo design on the current webpages. http://www.mtdproducts.com/corporate/index.jsp http://www.gutbrod-online.eu/Brand_Home.as...&csp=be&lang=en

HorseFixer 2,012 #10 Posted November 6, 2008 I wish we could get some history about the relationships with wheel horse and Cecil Pond that would be pretty cool. I bet there would be some stories to tell at least their version. Pretty outstanding the company is still around!
