callum12 256 #1 Posted April 11, 2015 Hi all, when i received my A-800 it did run but quickly flooded, I believe that i have solved this by repairing the float bowl that had a hole in it. the seller also mentioned that the governor linkages were not correctly assembled. I have got all the PDFs concerning my engine but I can't find one that has a good diagram that explains how the governor is linked to the carb. does anyone have any diagrams that might help me, or even better some pictures of there own TVXL220 carb? if not could anyone explain to me how it should go together? thank you very much, Callum
callum12 256 #2 Posted April 12, 2015 nearly got it figured out, is it correct that when not running the governor linkage rest in the wide open position? at the moment when the engine is not running the throttle lever has no effect on the butterfly, it remains wide open. If how I've set it up is correct as soon as it starts and the governor weights are flung out will it adjust to the setting I've got the throttle lever on (e.g: idle, half throttle etc)? thanks callum
