I bet it will be a runner without too much work. I think it would make a really good worker refurbish but then again you don't do that. You are all out or nothing at all. lol

By the way, I just enhanced the faded ID tag, and this one is a 73423 790????, which makes it a 1997.

I like it.At least the engine was tarped.Make sure you check under the tins for packed grass etc.Any horse I've ever bought that spent any time outside seems to have turned into a rodent condo.Have fun with your new toy.

Great Horse to save and spoil.

I have an '85 416-8, PO didn't treat the Horse properly. Now in my barn spoiled.

Beautiful and well behaved Stallions!

Thank you for takin' the neglected Horse in.

Plenty of room for the little mice but, I usually find mud wasp settlements!   :laughing-rofl:

Looks like some of the tarp may have been used for bedding material.

:USA:  :wh:  Bob  I hope the old girl gets some tlc. With a good coat of marvel or tranny fluid to bring back some color. [Burn] the seat. Find the wiring diagram here and take your time do one wire at a time. It will pay you back in the end. She deserves a little tlc because of it`s former life. Enjoy the ride. Gary   B....

Goes to show you the effect of de leading paint has on the long haul. The old horses even left out side rusted some and faded some put didn't turn pink. I'm kind of surprised it isn't rustier than it is. Most of the mid 80's on up horses I run across are rustier than an old Ford Escort. Show it some love Bob. :banana-wrench:

I don't know what you paid but around here lately that's a $500 tractor!

Hey Bob,

Based on the pictures and your text on the wiring, I would suggest you remove that wiring, put it in a 2 qt pan then add meatballs and sauce over low heat.  :)

So a "97" 416 Hydro had to have been $4000 plus right? With a deck? It always amazes me that something that was as expensive as that can get left out in the elements to deteriorate :scratchead:  .

I know you'll show it enough love Bob!

What's with those front wheels Bob?  Does this tractor have the 4-wheel steering option that was so popular that year? :)

You'll have it ready for Arendtsville, right?

It's missing the left hand a tie rod.

And no, I don't think this one is coming to Arendtsville. I should have 416-H #1 done by then, but there is just not enough time to get both done.

It's funny how that happens. First three Wheel Horses were B-100's. Then I've had two 857's. Now it's 416-H's.

Where will it all end?  :confusion-confused:

Bob I think it will end when you are trying to walk around or try  to move something. Then u see well if I move this shove that over there I think I can get this out. Or I build a shed to put all this in there. But it is all good. I just sold a nice 77 B-80 yesterday for that same reason. Hey it is better than being a couch potato. At our age it is good for the mind. Enjoy it. Gary     B.....

I notice any horse left inside also turns into a rodent condo... (At least in my shed)
