Drawings of Wheel Horses

Recommended Posts

  My first job, we hired someone who graduated from Tulane U, good school right? Anyway, this guy would walk around the office scratching under his arm yelling Grape Ape, never saw his sign :imstupid: . Needless to say, he was fired after only 5 days.

OK..... just messing around again and came up with this.

I "borrowed" some parts of the other ones and morphed it into a round hood "dragster".

You know....... the best thing about these drawings is that they keep me quiet on here for quite a while. :D:thumbs:

This one took about 4 hours and like the others, when they upload to Photobucket they automatically get converted from a BMP. file to a JPEG image, which loses the sharper details and color.

It's also very hard to draw realistic curved lines and shapes using MS Paint, therefore I choose to leave out hoses, cables, and wires.

It is with great pleasure that I submit this newest creation for your viewing pleasure:

THE HYDRAULIC DRIVEN ARTICULATING 4 WHEEL DRIVE WHEEL HORSE

Terry you know you use that MS paint just like an artist uses paint & canvas.

I guess what I'm saying is your mastery of that program exceeds mere talent!

Sure a lot of people can visualize something & others can make a picture ....but you ability to visualize something then turn around a share it with us in detail is amazeing!!

I think this & the mack trucks are my favorites.

I think we're all pretty fortunate at the "Square" to see your handywork.

When you get the time to build your Rat Rod it's going to be a treat to see something go from your imagination, to a picture representing the idea..to the finished project in the flesh.

Thanks again for another great pic...If you don't mind I think I'm gonna save a few of these to my computer.

Nice job TT !

You should probably frame some of these, and sell them as artwork !

Terry,

I really like that articulated hydraulic drive 4X4!

We may need to make you the "administrator" of previsualization around here...

I do believe Terry is our Chip Foose of the wheel horse modifying world. Now if we could only put togethor an A team and build a tractor at the show

Wait I'm talking myself into work again aren't I?

If y'all haven't seen it yet, my latest "creation" is over in the "drawings" picture gallery. It's a 1980 D-200 crawler/dozer and it took about 10 hours to "put together".

All of you D series guys forgive me if it isn't quite right here or there. I've never owned one and was working off a few pictures and parts drawings for the tractor pieces.

I'm going to give the mouse a break for a while while I try to dream up something new. :D

I tried a drawing myself... My grandmother was worried and wondering why I was staring at the nose of my 1968 Electro 12... I think I missed some of the engine, and I drew the grille backwards! Also, the scanner didn't do it much good...
