mikemouch 0 #1 Posted March 21, 2015 I have a 1948 wheel horse. It has a 3 speed trans and it gets stuck in 3rd gear but you can not get nutraul and you can put it in like first gear but it acts like its jamed in both gears. I took out the shift lever got tractor back in neutral and put back together but works for a little while and keeps doing it. Was thinking heard all the first models used a Ford transmission and then progressed to a chain drive mechanism.
